Abstract
The project provides the development and implemen¬tation of a fruit and vegetable tunnel dryer, that will use as a source of heat the energy obtained from burning pellets and agricultural waste. We provide the technological process of a wet products drying plant and determination of optimum drying parameters: temperature, velocity and humidity, drying period required by the operator products (apples, plums, pears, and so on). Development of overall construction of the dryer; it`s selection and adaptation to the heat generator parameters, based on pellets and agricultural waste; development of mathematical models of phenomena that occur during drying; development of a system to manage the process of drying technology based on mentioned mathematical models; complex dryer automation. The dryer will be implemented in the agricultural enterprise SRL VIOMARIX-PLUS, from village Hincauti, Edineţi. This dryer will allow the use of domestic renewable energy resources, ie pellets and agricultural waste collected from enterprises territory. Optimization of drying process by implementing automation systems developed will reduce energy consumption in drying processes, obtaining quality dried products, nationally and internationally competitive.
