Abstract:
The current environmental situation, the constant deterioration of the environment and the increasing depletion of Natural Resources caused by industrial production and economic activity in general, cause increasing concern among scientists, politicians and public figures. Environmental impact is one of the priority global issues facing humanity. It is increasingly difficult to find a balance between maintaining the pace of economic growth and minimizing the negative consequences of the impact on nature, which shows the need to find ways to solve the environmental problems of industrial production. Environmental management is a part of the overall corporate governance system, which has a clear organizational structure and aims to achieve the provisions specified in the environmental policy through the implementation of environmental protection programs. By means of elements integrated into all aspects of activity, the environmental management system provides a basis for improving the effectiveness of environmental responsibility. Compliance with international standards that require the creation of effective environmental management systems has become mandatory in the global economy.
