dc.description.abstractTurbina eoliană cu ax vertical hibridă conține un turn vertical fix, pe care este așezat coaxial un arbore rotativ de bază cu rotorul elicoidal Darreus cu pale cu profil aerodinamic. Un rotor suplimentar rotativ Savonius este plasat coaxial pe turn, cu cel puțin două pale elicoidale pline. Rotorul conține și un generator electric, cu statorul la care este legat rigid arborele rotativ de bază, iar cu rotorul său arborele rotativ suplimentar este legat rigid. Rotorul este conectat la turn printr-un cuplaj unidirecțional. Arborele rotativ de bază și suplimentar sunt conectați cinematic unul cu celălalt cu posibilitatea de a se roti în direcții opuse.en_US
