The regenerative induction method of testing six-phase asynchronous machines is an innovative one, it uses only an adjustable three-phase power supply and no mechanical load coupling. According to the method, one three-phase system of the six-phase stator winding is powered and operates in motor mode, and the second three-phase system - operates in generator, idle or short-circuit modes. The method is very simple, energy efficient, it allows the determination of the parameters of the equivalent scheme, the power losses and the operating characteristics of the six-phase traction motors of electric vehiclesen_US
