The article presents the results of the analysis of expert opinions and geological reports made for cases of new construction in landslide-prone areas of the territory of Moldova. Territories with the manifestation of landslide and erosion processes belong to areas with complex engineering and geological conditions. For such areas, a reliable feasibility study is of particular importance. The article notes the shortcomings of design solutions that ignore the basic principles of the development of the slope territories of Moldova. Recommendations are given for updating the legal framework governing aspects of the development of agricultural land. The information base of the study was formed by the legal acts of the Republic of Moldova; data from the National Bureau of Statistics, National Institute for Scientific Research in Construction (INCERCOM), expert opinions and geological reports.en_US
