Abstract: 
Plum trees of the varieties Top Star, Blue Free, Stanley, President and Tophit grafted on the rootstock Mirobalan 29C were used as research objects. Trees of the varieties under study were planted according to the system in a vertical plane on the planting distance 5.0 x 3.0 m and trained according to the improved natural pyramidal crown shape. The research was carried out under field and laboratory conditions according to accepted methods of working on fruit crops.
