dc.description.abstract | The risk factors that can influence the development of the agro-food sector in the Republic ofMoldova are related to a number of aspects, such as meteorological conditions, government policies, investments in research and development, infrastructure, the level of education and training of the workforce, competitiveness the market etc. Among these factors, some of the most important are the following: Climate change - Moldova is an agricultural country, and weather conditions play an important role in the development of plants and obtaining agricultural production. Climate change can have a significant impact on the quality and quantity of agricultural production. Access to finance and investment - The agricultural sector requires constant investment in the modernization and expansion of infrastructure and equipment. Access to finance and investment is important to support these investments and to develop the agricultural sector. Government Policy - Government policies can play an important role in the development of the agricultural sector. These policies may include measures to support agricultural producers, increase access to markets and invest in rural infrastructure. Market competitiveness - The agri-food sector is extremely competitive, both nationally and internationally. Agricultural products must be competitive in price and quality to be sold in markets. Level of training and education of the workforce - The level of education and training of the workforce in the agricultural sector can have a significant impact on the efficiency and productivity of the sector. In conclusion, these risk factors are only some of the most important elements that can influence the development of the agro-food sector in the Republic of Moldova.
