In this paper, the authors suggest reframing the classical lecture through various activeparticipatory strategies infusion, so that the teacher transits from the role of an agent who operates with a system of rigid rules, an evaluator, and a decision-maker of the teaching-learning process to that of a facilitator, a partner, a mentor, a supervisor, a friend, and a negotiator. This transition ensures the development of a collaboration between the educational actors who become partners due to a multidimensional interaction during the lecture. In this way, the teacher becomes the link who ensures an efficient collaboration among the elements of the student-teacher-content triad. Due to the teacher's mastery and professionalism, active learning techniques become a tool that facilitates the feasibility and sustainability of the academic partnership.en_US
