When the heating season is 5.5 months per year, the issue of ensuring thermal comfort is of utmost importance. The authors made a comparative analysis of the three most widespread solutions for heating homes in the Republic of Moldova: with "natural gas boiler", "solid fuel boiler" and "heat pump". The efficiency of use is argued in terms of the capital commitment required for installation and operation over the normative lifetime. The authors propose and argue from different points of view the installation of "heat pumps" in the historical area of Chisinau to ensure thermal comfort in buildings of architectural value.en_US
