dc.description.abstract | The invention relates to animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, especially to the protective medium for ram semen and can be applied for dilution, preservation by refrigeration, storage of semen, that will contribute to the efficient use of the autochthonous animal gene fond. The problem that the present invention solves consists in the elaboration of the protective medium for diluting and preserving by refrigeration of the seminal material, obtained from reproductive rams of great zootechnical value, which through the increasing of the number of mobile spermatozoa, with rectilinear movement and decreasing of the microbiological indices allows longer preservation of the genetic material (up to 120 hours), protecting the spermatozoa against the stress associated with low temperatures and the negative influence of pathogenic microorganisms. | en_US |
