The invention relates to apiculture, in particular to a process for feeding bee families Apis mellifera.
The process, according to the invention, includes feeding of bees in the spring with a 50% sugar syrup with the addition of a solution of Penicillium funiculosum CNMN-FD-11 strain metabolites in an amount of 25ml/L, at the same time, the bees are fed only once with administration of 200 ml of mixture to each bee frame.
The application of the procedure ensures a significant increase in the values of the main reproductive characters of queen and the development of bee families. Queens prolificacy in bee families increased by 13,6%, the amount of hatched brood by 44%, the strength of bee families by 22,6%, and the amount of honey at the first harvest by 9,2%.
