dc.description.abstract | In order to form the basic elements of future generations' health, it is necessary to optimally ensure and protect the development of a child until the age of 18. The purpose of this study is to assess the dynamics of the health status in children and adolescents. Material and Methods: The research was conducted on the basis of the results of the prophylactic examinations, general morbidity, physical development of preschoolers and pupils from 1st up to 12th grade, also some determinant factors, existing at CNSP and CNMS level, covering the period 2003-2015. The deficiency structure is dominated by low visual acuity (19.8 - 26.6 cases per 1000 children examined), followed at an essential distance by physical retardation (10.1 to 14.8 cases per 1000 examined children), posture disorders, (7.1 to 8.5 cases per 1000 examined children) and speech defects (5.8-7.5 cases per 1000 examined children). The structure of the registered general morbidity of pupils is determined by diseases of the respiratory system (J00-J99) - 97,4 ± 8,78‰, endocrine, nutrition and metabolism maladies (E00-E90) - 48,3 ± 7,72‰, eye diseases and its annexes (H00-H59) - 41.3 ± 2.26‰ and parasitic diseases (B65-B83) - 40.3 ± 6.73‰. Conclusions: New data on the dynamics of children's health status has been obtained. The analysis of the particularities of children's physical development, of the level and structure of the morbidity and disability in children from different age groups, allowed us to obtain comparative data regarding the health status, in accordance to the age and place of education of the children. | en_US |
