This paper highlights one of the important components of social responsibility, social audit, a concept that has recently appeared in the professional literature and which is still under-studied in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, it is already used by companies in light industry that provide services for foreign clients. The necessity of this activity resides in its society importance due to the fact that it ensures a sustainable development of the companies, especially in light industry, which are part of the supply chain of the retailers and the owners of famous international brands.en_US
