Abstract:
The paper deals with the development of precessional gears with toothed gearing with concave-concave contact of inclined teeth. In order to increase the bearing capacity and the mechanical efficiency of the precessional gear, the contact of the teeth is concave-concave with little difference of the curvature radius of the conjugated profiles, and to reduce the frictional sliding in the contact the teeth are inclined. In order to make the gearing with inclined teeth, there was developed the process of generating the inclined teeth with cylindrical tool on numerically controlled multi-axial machine tools.
