Abstract: 
The historical ruin (modeled in the centuries-old destruction process) is a form with complete value of the monument. Authenticity is the main architectural-spatial, artistic value and historical feature of a historical ruin. (1)
In this article were analyzed what are the main values that transmit and bear the objects of the architectural heritage type - ruin.
Likewise, the main modern methods recommended at international level for interventions on ruin-type objects were analyzed and exemplified, the purpose of these methods being the preservation and transmission of those historical values of the entire nation.
Following the analysis at international level, the situation and experience of the Republic of Moldova related to interventions on the objects of the architectural heritage type - ruin, and the methods of intervention that are applied in the Republic of Moldova were analyzed and presented.
