dc.description.abstractThe invention relates to renewable energy, namely to vertical-axis wind turbines with power control and can be used to transform wind energy into electricity. The proposed technical solutions ensure turbine's power control and protection of its mechanical components from overload by aerodynamic and mechanical braking. The technical solutions proposed in the invention allow: The protection of electrical generator from overload through automatic power control; High reliability of the dynamic mechanical parts of the vertical axis wind turbine.en_US
