Access to finance and investment - Access to finance and investment is also important for the wine sector, as it requires investment in infrastructure, technology and equipment to ensure quality production and market competitiveness. Market competition - The wine sector is a competitive one, so quality, price and access to markets can be determining factors for a producer's success. Winemaking regulations - The winemaking sector is heavily regulated, and changes in legislation or restrictions on the production and marketing of wine can affect the development of the sector. Transport and logistics infrastructure - Transport and logistics infrastructure is important to the wine sector as it ensures the transport of grapes and finished products to the market in a timely manner and under optimal conditions.
