Abstract:
Chardonnay is a white wine variety that originated in the Burgundy region of France but is grown in many other wine regions around the world, including California, Australia, Italy and others. Chardonnay wines are known for their wide range of aromas and tastes, depending on the region where it is grown and processed. These wines usually have flavors and aromas of yellow fruits such as apples, pears, peaches or pineapples, but can also have citrus flavors such as lemons or grapefruit. Chardonnay wine can also be aged in oak barrels, which gives it flavors of vanilla, nut and cinnamon. Chardonnay wine can range from dry and full-bodied wines to sweet wines with high acidity.
