Abstract:
The article addresses the problem of hyper-protection by parents and its influence on the adaptive behavior in the primary school environment. Through theoretical research, we elucidate the factors that lead to family hyper-protection, the causes and consequences of this behavior on children. We emphasize that parents need to become aware of the influence they exert in the child's life and, in order to opt for an education that will help the child, adapt to the current school and social demands. To help children, parents need to mobilize the entire adaptive mechanism of the subject in order to develop complex behavior, capable of planning, organizing, facilitating and implementing measures of adequacy and integration in a constantly changing environment.
