Individual freedom and security are one of the most sensitive and complex values of the human being who, along with other fundamental rights, play an important role in a democratic society. With the development of society, the requirements for the organization and activity of law enforcement bodies increase. The practical activity of persons and bodies competent in the fight against crime is unimaginable without the application of measures of criminal prosecution. The procedural measures are aimed at the proper conduct of the criminal proceedings by achieving its immediate purpose, respectively, the timely and complete finding of the facts that constitute crimes, so that any person who has committed a crime is punished according to his guilt and an innocent person should not be held criminally liable.
